Stories wanted for D.C.'s 'Chicken Soup' book

Parker College of Chiropractic is partnering with best-selling authors Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen to create the first ever "Chicken Soup For The Chiropractic Soul." Doctors are invited to submit stories for publication consideration.

The book will contain stories that "cause a happy tear; give the reader goosebumps; give the reader a lump in their throat; change the reader's perception; make the reader weak in the knees; show the miracles of chiropractic and be 1500 words or less."

The deadline for submission is June 1, 2001. Along with the article, doctors should include their name, address and phone number on each typed page of the story. Anonymous authors are also accepted. The first three stories accepted for publication will receive $1000 cash.

All stories accepted for publication will receive free admission to The Parker Seminars' 50 year celebration in Las Vegas, January 2002.
