The World Chiropractic Alliance (WCA) has applied and is
awaiting approval for 12 hours of continuing education credit through Parker College. Of
course, doctors need to check with their own licensing boards to verify that credit has
been approved in their state.
The Summit, scheduled for March 1-4 in Washington, D.C., has a full agenda of
educational presentations covering all aspects of the role of subluxation-based
chiropractic in global wellness.
Among the featured speakers and topics scheduled are:
Examining chiropractic research and techniques, Dr. Matthew McCoy,
editor, Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research.
Chiropractic pediatrics: caring for the world's children, Drs. Stuart and
Theresa Warner.
Chiropractic philosophy, Dr. Fred Barge
Chiropractic's role in global wellness, Dr. Christopher Kent, WCA's Main
NGO representative to the United Nations Department of Information.
Public education and risk management, Timothy Feuling, vice president of
the World Chiropractic Alliance.
In addition, a special "Leadership and Legislative Day" (March 2) will
feature talks by members of the U.S. Congress on subjects as diverse as "The role of
the federal government in promoting chiropractic research," "Chiropractic care
and Medicare," "Chiropractic care in the military and veterans affairs,"
