Santa will need a chiropractor
again this Christmas!

(do your patients know how a DC saved Christmas???)

It's still summer yet thousands of DCs are already thinking of Christmas. That's because they know they have to act now if they're to be prepared in time to distribute "The Chiropractor Who Saved Christmas" for the holidays.

More than 10,000 copies of the book were sold in just 45 days last year, and the success spurred Barnes & Noble to request that the book be made available in its stores. It's on its way to becoming a Christmas “classic,” with its timeless story of how a DC helped Santa Claus by adjusting his reindeer.

In the book, written by Dianne Miller and illustrated by Ron Miller, three reindeer get sick just hours before Santa needs to start making his rounds. "Dancer stopped dancing, Dasher stopped dashing, and Prancer stopped prancing," the story explains.

A doctor of chiropractic ‑‑ Dr. May – comes to the rescue by giving adjustments to the sick reindeer, as well as all the elves and Santa too.

The colorfully illustrated story does more than just make a DC the hero of the story. It also helps teach children (and their parents) about the role of chiropractic in health.

"Our health comes from inside," the doctor tells Santa. "I just help with alignment so your sickness can't hide. You create your own health, you create how you feel. I help open the channels, so your body can heal."

The book was dedicated to "Aunt Linda, our favorite chiropractor" and shows a true understanding of chiropractic. An ideal teaching and public relations tool, the book will be treasured by children for years to come.

"I have two young children of my own," said Timothy Feuling, president of Chiropractic Benefit Services RPG, who undertook the printing and distribution of the book. "And I know this will become one of their favorites. I'm sure they'll read it over and over ... and over!"

Feuling admits that when the project was first presented to him, he almost turned it down due to the high price of printing a four-color book. "We weighed and balanced the tremendous costs and work involved against the ability to position chiropractors as true heroes. How could we say no to having DCs adjust Santa and Prancer -- and save Christmas?"

His instincts proved correct when DCs quickly snatched up the first printing of the book and made it an instant success. "We received calls from doctors all over the world singing the praises of this book. Most of them told us that their patients thought it was one of the best books they had ever read to their kids."

A number of chiropractic colleges have already asked to carry the book in their bookstores and Feuling suggested that doctors place their orders early in case the book sells out again.

Single copies are available for $18.95, shipping and handling included. Doctors who purchase the book by the case (82 books per case) qualify for the special bulk price of just $3.30 per book ($270.60 per case, shipping and handling included). Allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.

SPECIAL OFFER: The first 40 doctors to call
and order a case of books will receive
their order within one week for early distribution!

"I can't think of a better present to give your patients this holiday," Feuling said. "It's sure to boost practice volume and result in numerous referrals."
